The Chef & The Cook

Kris Burton ‘The Chef’ – A lady with a bag full of talent
& her goal is to help make everybody’s day as special as can be with wonderful food to serve.
She has been chefing since the age of 16 & her passion for food has only grown over the years.
She has worked all around New Zealand & also in Malta, Sydney & London.
Kris is married with 3 children & together with her husband Elliot, they own Burton’s Butchery in Paeroa.
Elliot & Kris make a truly amazing team of ‘Chef & Butcher’.

Deb Burton ‘The Cook’ – Now this lady is very famous in the Coromandel Peninsula & beyond, after years of catering throughout the area. She has been part of the Golden Oldies, established & sold a bakery in Rotorua & has travelled throughout Australia working in Roadhouses while taking in the sights.
On returning to New Zealand, Deb & her business partner opened ‘Deb & Charlies’, a cafe’ that was located in Grahamstown in Thames. After selling the cafe‘, Deb continued on with her catering.

So…..you’re wodering how The Chef & The Cook came to be?

Well…..The Chef married The Son! And that is how
The Chef & The Cook came to be!
It was Kris’s year to come back to work after raising their 3 littlies & working at the butchers shop & Deb was ready to get busy again & so together they joined forces. These 2 ladies love to laugh, enjoy producing amazing food & thrive on providing a friendly & professional service
to their customers.
